Privacy
The short version. You can play everything without an account, and if you do, nothing you do here leaves your browser. An account adds cross-device saves and nothing else.
What stays on your device
Your guesses, results, streaks, per-mode statistics and map tracker are stored in your browser's local storage. If you are not signed in, they are never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data deletes them permanently.
If you create an account
Accounts are optional. Every mode is fully playable without one, and signing in only adds saves that follow you between devices.
If you do sign in, we store your email address and a copy of the same progress described above, meaning your streaks, statistics, current boards and map tracker. That is the whole record. We do not store your password. Authentication is handled by Supabase, and if you sign in with Google or Discord we receive only your email address from them, never your password or profile.
The account is shared with our other daily guessing games, so one login works across them. Signing out clears the saved progress from the device you are on, because it is already safely in your account. You can delete the account and everything in it by emailing us.
The launch email list
If you enter your email to be told when the site is ready, we store that address, the page you entered it on, and the date. The page is recorded so we can tell which parts of the site people find useful.
It is used for one thing: a single email when GTA6dle is rebuilt with real GTA 6 data at launch. It is never sold, shared or used for anything else, and that email will carry an unsubscribe link.
Analytics
GTA6dle uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and collects the usual traffic data, pages viewed, approximate location, device and referrer. It is not used to identify you personally.
What is not collected
No names, no addresses, no payment details, and no passwords. We ask for an email address in exactly two places, creating an account and the launch list, and both are optional. Nothing you type into a guess box is ever sent anywhere.
Who processes this
Accounts, saved progress and the launch email list are stored with Supabase, which hosts the database on our behalf. Nobody else receives any of it.

Changes
If that ever changes, whether through an ad network, a leaderboard or anything else that moves data off your device, this page will be updated before it ships.
